The Sandhills Community College volleyball team was defeated 25-11, 25-18 and 25-10 by Davidson-Davie CC in Thomasville on Wednesday evening.
The Lady Flyers take a record of 3-5 into a tri-match hosted by Bryant and Stratton of Virginia Beach on Friday and Saturday. The Storm improved to 5-1 with the victory.
Friday's schedule has the Lady Flyers meeting College of Southern Maryland at 6:30 p.m. and then Bryant and Stratton at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday they face College of Southern Maryland again at noon and Mid-Atlantic Christian University at 2 p.m.
All of the matches will be held at Norfolk Collegiate Upper School in Norfolk.
