Flyers Welcome Alexis Vaughn from Randleman High School
Alexis Vaughn joins Sandhills Community College from Randleman High School, where she helped lead her team to a 23–5 record and a runner-up finish in the NCHSAA Eastern Finals. A 5'9" right-side hitter with 10 years of experience, Vaughn has also competed for several travel programs, most recently Zoo City Volleyball Club. At Randleman, she was active beyond athletics as a student ambassador and volunteer at Randleman Elementary while also lettering in track and field.
"We're excited to welcome Alexis Vaughn to the Flyer Family!" said head coach Alicia Riggan. "Standing tall at the net, Alexis brings a powerful presence with her strong hitting and blocking ability. We can't wait to see her make an impact on the court next season."
Vaughn plans to major in Nursing at Sandhills and looks forward to meeting new teammates, making friends, and continuing to grow her love for the game.
