Flyer freshman forward Ahmad McKnight begins this season after a high school career at Queens Grant High School in Matthews, NC, where Coach Jay Forsythe developed his skills on the court. At 6’6” height, the Associate in Arts transfer major is grateful to his parents, Bryant and Leslie, for encouraging education as a life path for him and siblings Christopher, Brittany, and Evanna.  Answering to the names “McKnight” and “Juicy,” Ahmad points to his father as his greatest role model and to lil Wayne as his favorite musical artist.  He like pizza, drawing, sleeping, and watching Pirates of the Caribbean as his favorite pastimes.
